Job Summary:
A Jewellery Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and providing excellent customer service within a retail jewellery store. The role involves assisting customers in selecting jewellery, handling sales transactions, maintaining product displays, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales:
Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and offer assistance.
Understand customer preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Demonstrate jewellery products, explaining their features, pricing, and value.
Close sales transactions and process payments accurately.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues or concerns promptly.
Product Knowledge & Demonstration:
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the store's jewellery collection, including diamonds, gemstones, gold, and other precious metals.
Educate customers on jewellery care, certifications, and authenticity.
Stay updated on market trends and new product arrivals to provide knowledgeable service.
Sales Targets & Reporting:
Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets set by management.
Prepare daily sales reports, record sales, and submit them to the store manager.
Contribute to promotional activities and support marketing campaigns.
Inventory & Visual Merchandising:
Assist in maintaining proper stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and managing stock reorders.
Help in arranging and maintaining the jewellery display to ensure it is visually appealing and attracts customer attention.
Ensure that all displayed products are clean, polished, and in excellent condition.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Contact customers to inform them about new arrivals, special promotions, or exclusive offers.
Follow up with customers after sales to ensure their satisfaction and address any feedback.
Operational Support:
Assist in the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Handle paperwork related to sales, warranties, and repairs as needed.
Eligibility:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus).
1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in jewellery or luxury goods.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of jewellery and gemstones is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
