Helios Senior Java Lead with Mongo DB and Redis ExperienceProject Description:Citi is embarking on a multi-year technology initiative in Wholesale Lending Credit Risk (WLCR) Technology Space. In this Journey, we are looking for a highly motivated hands-on senior developer. We are building the platform, which supports various Messaging, API, and Workflow Components for Loans Services across the bank. Solution will be built from the scratch using latest technologies. The candidate will be a core member of the technology team responsible for implementing projects based on Java, Spring Boot, Kafka using latest technologies. Excellent opportunity to immerse in and learn within the Wholesale Lending Division and gain exposure to business and technology initiatives targeted to maintain lead position among its competitors. We work in a Hybrid-Agile Environment.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Expert Hands-on Lead - Writes good quality code in Java, Sprint Boot (related stack)xc2xb7 Expert on JUnit, Mockito, Integration Tests and Performance Testsxc2xb7 Proficient in Mongo DB and Redis Cachingxc2xb7 Sound technical Design & Architecture skills, expert in implementing appropriate design patternsxc2xb7 Sound Analytic and problem-solving skillsxc2xb7 Good Experience on performance tuning should be able to use required tools effectively to find the root causesxc2xb7 Good Experience on taking full end to end ownership of developing cloud native micro servicesxc2xb7 Ability to effectively interact, collaborate with development teamxc2xb7 Ability to effectively communicate development progress to the Global Leads & senior managementxc2xb7 Work with leads onshore, offshore and matrix teams to implement a business solutionxc2xb7 Writing High Performance Parallel Processing using Multi-Threading and Multi-Processingxc2xb7 Write user/supported documentationxc2xb7 Evaluate and adopt new dev tools, libraries, and approaches to improve delivery qualityxc2xb7 Perform peer code review of project codebase changesxc2xb7 Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team membersxc2xb7 Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencySkills Required:xc2xb7 10-12 years of experience in industry of software development (Java, Sprint Boot)xc2xb7 Good Knowledge of Spring including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Web, Spring Dataxc2xb7 Expert Hands-on Knowledge of: Threading, Collections, Exception Handling, JDBC, Java OOD/OOP Concepts, GoF Design Patterns, MoM and SOA Design Patterns, File I/O, and parsing XML and JSON, delimited files and fixed length files, String matching, parsing, building, working with binary data / byte arrays.xc2xb7 Good knowledge of SQL (Oracle dialect is preferable)xc2xb7 Experience working with SOA & Micro-services utilizing REST.xc2xb7 Experience with design and implementations of cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters is a plusxc2xb7 Experience working in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environment and familiar with Tekton, Harness, Jenkins, Code Quality, etc.xc2xb7 Proficient in industry standard best practices such as Design Patterns, Coding Standards, Coding modularity, Prototypes etc.xc2xb7 Experience in debugging, tuning and optimizing componentsxc2xb7 Understanding of the SDLC lifecycle for Agile & Waterfall methodologiesxc2xb7 Excellent written and oral communication skillsxc2xb7 Experience developing application in Financial Services industry is preferredNice to have experience:xc2xb7 Messaging Systems: RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka, Tibco.
