Join a global banking technology team focused on modernizing Post-Trade & Custody platforms through microservices, Kafka streaming, and event-driven architecture. You will design and build scalable backend services and APIs using Java and Kotlin, contributing to an ambitious digital transformation initiative.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance backend systems using Java and Kotlin


Build REST APIs and integrate microservices in a cloud-native architecture


Apply TDD and CI/CD practices for high-quality, production-ready code


Collaborate across global Agile delivery teams


Participate in system design and architecture discussions


Support post-deployment and contribute to continuous improvement

Skills

Must have


Strong backend development in Java (Java EE) and Kotlin


Spring Framework ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.)


Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD


Relational DBs: MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle


Tools: Git, JIRA


OS: UNIX/Linux


Strong problem-solving and communication skills


Nice to have


Kafka / event streaming experience


Exposure to cloud-native design patterns


Agile team delivery in cross-region setups
