ROLE DESCRIPTION


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Engineer to join our growing team. This role will be pivotal in designing, developing, and scaling our core platform, with a strong focus on leveraging Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance efficiency and productivity across our systems. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer with a proven track record of building and deploying large-scale Java and/or Python applications, possesses architectural experience, and is passionate about exploring the potential of GenAI and LLMs. They will be working in a fast paced agile environment building data intensive applications showcasing Data Platform Observability and building actionable Insights.
SKILLS REQUIRED6-10 years of experience in design and development of large-scale software systems, with a strong focus on Java and/or Python development Experience in both Java and Python would be a huge plus Proven experience architecting and building systems Hands-On experience with GenAI/LLMs to improve efficiency and productivity Experience with Databricks or Snowflake systems would be a Plus
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Python-based systems Help with the architectural design and implementation of key platform components Collaborate across design, product, and engineering teams Integrate Generative AI and LLMs into existing systems to automate tasks and improve decision-making Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical challenges
