Position Title: Senior Software Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role you will collaborate with other senior technical team members and other developers to, design, develop and deliver technology solutions for web application. You will interact with various technology, product, and business teams across MUFG.

Perform application design and development activities in the latest technologies: Java, REST, microservices, Angular or React, IONIC, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

Manage, lead and track project tasks delivery with development team

Integrate vendor hosted solutions with banks applications via API, SAML and File transmissions

Deliver project tasks that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines

Role requirement

Skillset: Red Hat Open Shift, Kubernetes, Docker, Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP Services, JSON, Micro Services, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Jenkins,, JPA, Hibernate, Splunk monitoring tool, Secure Coding practices

• Overall 6+ years in IT Development with Java programming, including popular open-source libraries and frameworks like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate
• Must have 4 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes (Preferably OpenShift) Platform and Dockers technology
• Must have 4+ years of experience in developing Microservices
• Proficiency in the general areas: Jenkins, BitBucket, and Github, ArgoCD, and Tekton pipeline
• Stong experience of API Development using REST/SOAP
• Experience with relational database technologies: Oracle and MS SQL Server
• Experience with the CI/CD pipeline process
• Preferred: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer
• Experience with Kafka, AWS is a plus
• Experience integrating with SSO system through OAuth and SAML
• Experience with Internet facing application providing API services.
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall development methodology
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
