Introduction: Wealth Data Integration comprises several agile feature teams, responsible for developing and maintaining APIs and micro-services that allow communication across Barclays Wealth applications, and to a number of external systems. These services are used by a number of Wealth and Retail applications within Barclays, in areas such as mobile and online banking, trade booking and reporting. The role involves working on the strategic design and development of the next generation of data integration software within Barclays Wealth Technology, expanding and maintaining of our suites of APIs, integration adapters and micro-services. What will you be doing Be a key member within one of the Integration/API/Java scrum teams. Taking business and functional requirements and translating them into technical and functional designs for APIs, Java Spring based project, adapters and micro-services. Producing and maintaining application code along with accompanying automated test suites. Unit and integration testing of code, and providing support to testing cycles ensuring that defects are resolved. All project deliverables must be produced in accordance with governance practices and utilizing QA procedures. Contribute towards central JAVA, API forums, Best Practice, etc. Support and mentor junior colleagues. Partake in all aspects of an iterative Agile development lifecycle. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the application support teams to ensure effective delivery of projects into the production environment Delivery the code with high quality along with Mock Service automation, Junits. Individual Hands on Coding experience must Ability to lead, review Java code, Service code is must Good to have devops knowledge What we\'re looking for: Excellent hands-on technology skills: Java, Linux, Databases, Web services, REST, MQ, Kafka, Junit,JDK,Sprintboot Well versed with Core Java Concepts and successful implementation Proven ability to design and develop enterprise level software solutions using tools and techniques such as Source Control, Build Tools (e.g. Maven), TDD, BDD etc. Well Versed with CI-CD Jenkins Pipeline Cloud Development, particularly AWS Self-driven, proactive and demonstrates initiative with strong problem solving abilities Good communication skills Skills that will help you in the role: Sonar Cube, Veracode Standards Cybersecurity and cryptography knowledge Experience of deployment tools, particularly Chef NoSQL, Oracle, SQL Database experience, such as MongoDB Where will you be working Pune Be More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more - as a professional, and as a person. \'Be More @ Barclays\' represents our core promise to all current and future employees.
