Position overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be working on cutting-edge microservices-based applications, developing scalable and efficient systems using the latest Java technologies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about real-time data processing, event-driven architectures, and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features aligned with business goals
Implement and optimize event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka and message queues such as IBM MQ or RabbitMQ
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring security, performance, and reliability
Work with both relational and non-relational databases to design efficient data models and queries
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices and coding standards
Requirements: Extensive hands-on experience with Java 17+
Strong proficiency in microservices architecture
Expertise with Spring Boot and Hibernate
Experience working with Apache Kafka
Strong knowledge of Relational and Non-Relational Databases
Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and real-time data processing
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and message queues (e.g., IBM MQ, RabbitMQ)
Proficiency with unit testing frameworks, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with security best practices in software development
Experience with Git, TeamCity, and OpenAPI
Nice to have: Some exposure to AI productivity tools
