A Day in the Life The Global Operations and Supply Chain Value stream is accountable for the plan, build and run activities for all applications from the Global Operations and Supply Chain stakeholders. The Global IT Deliver team is part of the Global Operations and Supply Chain value stream and is accountable for the Warehousing, Transportation, Dangerous Goods and Trade Compliance systems.
We are seeking a senior-level experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team with a primary focus on building of our Warehousing, Transportation, Dangerous Goods and Trade Compliance applications, mainly focused on SAP ECC, modules LE and WM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development techniques and coding standards and will be at the forefront of implementing cutting edge solutions
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP solutions with a primary focus on WM and LE modules
• Utilizing the latest SAP development techniques and coding standards in ABAP
• Deploy new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner in coordination with IT Business Analysts, other developers (ABAP or otherwise), testers and project managers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that enhance business processes.
• Ensure solutions are scalable and meet business needs while adhering to best practices and standards.
• Keep abreast of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) developments and integrate relevant features to enhance system capabilities.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years' experience as an SAP Developer in a project based environment.
• Knowledge of best practice SAP development techniques and coding standards in ABAP including:

• Use of Core Data Services (CDS) views for efficient data modelling and access
• Implementation of modern ABAP syntax improvements and inline declarations
• Application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles for modular and reusable code
• Understanding of IT change processes and/or SAP solution delivery processes.
• Excellent communication in English as well as collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant or adjacent experience required.
• Experience with full cycle SAP implementation projects.

Other Comments or Requirements:

• Some level of travel may be required to support project requirements
• Some out of hours work will be required, including attending virtual meetings in different time zones

Nice to Haves

• Experience with LE, WM or other SAP systems like GTS
• Experience with SAP S4HANA implementations
• Experience with global SAP implementation projects.

• Experience in SAP Solution Manager tool/Rev Trac and processes for change documentation and the related transport processes
• Adoption of ABAP restful application programming model (RAP) for building Fiori applications
