This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist in India.
As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless technology operations and providing expert support to internal teams across the organization. You will handle IT requests, manage hardware and software setups, and oversee IT assets while maintaining accurate records. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting onboarding and training, and collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders. You will also take ownership of IT projects, from documentation to system configuration and integration, contributing to a well-organized and efficient IT environment. This position is fully remote in India, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced technology-driven company.
Accountabilities:

• Provide timely IT support and resolve requests from internal end users.
• Manage hardware and software setups, including employee onboarding and account creation.
• Support and maintain IT assets, computers, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while assisting employees in using internal platforms.
• Lead and execute IT projects, including system configuration, documentation, and integrations.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement of IT equipment and services.
• Enhance IT processes and documentation to improve employee experience and self-service.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of IT support experience or equivalent education.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS X, and some Linux systems.
• Experience with SSO, PowerShell scripting; Python is a plus.
• Understanding of ITIL best practices is desirable.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Highly organized, process-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong critical thinking, collaboration, and vendor management abilities.
