Job Description

• Manage the IT portfolio lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, resource allocation, execution monitoring, and benefit realization.
• Balance process discipline with practical delivery, ensuring governance adds value and does not create unnecessary overhead.
• Provide portfolio transparency and insights through clear, actionable reporting and analysis (financial, risk, resource, and progress).
• Act as a sparring partner to project managers, providing both guidance and challenge on content, scope, and interdependencies.
• Work closely with the Director Change & Projects and IT Leadership to translate strategy into an executable, balanced portfolio.
• Own portfolio governance processes, while continuously improving them for simplicity, transparency, and impact.
• Monitor and control budgets, ensuring financial integrity and early identification of variances.
• Escalate risks and issues proactively, offering solutions and alternatives rather than only reporting problems.
• Facilitate portfolio reviews with leadership, enabling clear prioritization and decision-making.
