Required Skills :
Proven experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or similar role.
Proficiency in administering various Linux distributions such as RedHat, CentOS, Oracle, Ubuntu, etc.
Strong understanding of user account management, groups, and permissions in Linux.
Experience with patching and updating operating systems and applications.
Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving application deployment issues.
Strong scripting skills in Bash for automation tasks.
Experience with system performance monitoring and optimization.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies like Hyper-V and VMware ESXi.
Familiarity with server hardening, TLS/SSL vulnerability management, and related security practices.
Understanding of server and storage hardware, networking, DNS concepts, and Active Directory administration.
Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.
Knowledge of LVM and Unix filesystems.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux server administration, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to optimize and maintain our infrastructure. This role requires expertise in various Linux distributions and virtualization technologies.
Prerequisites
Base Location: Chennai. However, selected candidate has to efficiently & effectively manage travel within country and internationally as per business requirement
