About the Business Unit
The Languages business encompasses all non-English or Indic Brands within the Times Internet portfolio, featuring
a presence in eight regional languages across India, including Navbharat Times in Hindi, Maharashtra Times in
Marathi, Vijay Karnataka in Kannada, Samayam in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, and I am Gujarat.
Our Languages division stands as the fastest-growing regional content platform in India. We have an audience base
of 180 million users, with approximately one in every four Indians engaging with Times Internet Languages
Platforms. We are the leading news and information player in the Indic Languages category on Comscore. We have
maintained this dominance for several years now.
Diversity is at the heart of our community. Our audience is predominantly young, primarily below the age of 34
and has a strong female presence. We have a strong presence on social platforms with 24Mn followers on

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior iOS Developer to lead the design and development of our bilingual media rich content and AI-driven mobile experience. You'll build the iOS foundation using SwiftUI and modern iOS architecture, ensuring smooth performance, scalability, and analytics integration.
Must-Have Skills:
1. 6+ years of experience in iOS app development, with at least 2+ years using SwiftUI.
2. Deep understanding of iOS architecture (MVVM, Clean Swift, Combine).
3. Strong experience with API integration, data persistence (Core Data/Realm), and App lifecycle management.
4. Familiarity with analytics tools (Firebase) and 3rd-party SDKs.
5. Experience with App Store deployment, CI/CD (Fastlane/GitHub Actions).
6. Strong debugging, optimization, and code review skills.
Good to Have:
1. Hands-on experience with audio or podcast playback, background services and media session handling.
2. Experience with modularization and clean architecture.
3. Exposure to Swift Concurrency and WidgetKit/App Intents.
4. Understanding of multi-language apps (English/Hindi).
