Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Interior Designer who excels in client communication, project execution, and team management. This role starts with sales ownership--from calling leads to closing projects--and extends through the full lifecycle of design and execution. The ideal candidate must have strong project leadership skills and experience managing a team of junior designers and site coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Conversion

Handle inbound and outbound lead calls, conduct client meetings and site visits. Understand client requirements and present creative design solutions. Prepare and share proposals, BOQs, quotations, and manage budget discussions. Build trust with clients to convert inquiries into confirmed projects.

Design & Execution

Lead the end-to-end design process--from concept to handover. Work closely with clients to finalize layouts, material selections, and finishes. Review and approve detailed drawings and specifications before execution. Monitor progress through regular site visits and coordination with execution teams.

Team Management & Coordination

Supervise and guide junior designers; ensure design output meets quality standards. Coordinate closely with site supervisors, vendors, and contractors. Ensure clarity and alignment between design intent and on-site execution.

Validation & Quality Control

Technical Audit

: Thoroughly validate all 2D working drawings, electrical layouts, and plumbing points against site measurements to prevent on-site errors.

BOQ Verification

: Cross-check the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) against the final design to ensure no under-quoting or missing material specifications.

Feasibility Review

: Assess the structural and modular feasibility of custom designs to ensure they can be manufactured and installed within the project constraints.

Final Sign-off:

Responsible for the final "Error-Free" validation of the project folder before it is handed over to the factory or site execution team.

Software Skills

AutoCAD | SketchUp | V-Ray / Enscape | Photoshop (Bonus: D5, Lumion, Blender or 3Ds Max) Microsoft Excel | Microsoft PowerPoint

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

3+ years of experience specifically in the modular interior industry

(kitchens, wardrobes, storage systems). Strong understanding of materials, finishes, hardware, and fittings used in modular furniture. Proven ability in sales pitching and client relationship management. High attention to detail, creativity, and solution-oriented thinking.
