McLine Studios Private Limited is seeking an accomplished
Manager - Interior Design
to lead high-value interior design projects for the North American market. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery, setting design and documentation standards, mentoring design teams, and acting as a primary liaison with US and Canadian clients.
The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in
AutoCAD &
Revit-based interior construction documentation
with strong managerial, client-handling, and strategic decision-making skills.
Lead and manage multiple interior design projects for North American clients from
Design Development (DD) through Construction Documentation (CD)
stages.
Define, implement, and enforce studio-wide standards aligned with
AWI, AWMAC, NKBA, and client-specific guidelines
.
Provide technical and design leadership to interior designers, BIM modelers, and drafting teams.
Mentor, review, and guide team members to ensure high-quality deliverables, productivity, and professional growth.
Collaborate with senior leadership to improve workflows, quality control processes, and delivery timelines.
Project & Technical Oversight
Oversee the preparation and review of detailed interior construction drawings, including
plans, elevations, sections, details, and millwork packages
.
Ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance of all Revit and AutoCAD outputs.
Coordinate closely with engineering, MEP, and consultant teams to resolve design and documentation challenges.
Lead internal design reviews and QA/QC processes before client submission.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for
North American clients
, managing project kick-off meetings, design reviews, and coordination calls.
Maintain clear, professional, and proactive communication with clients via calls, emails, and presentations.
Manage client expectations, scope changes, and deliverable timelines effectively.
Represent McLine Studios as a trusted design partner in all client interactions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with global interior design trends, BIM best practices, and evolving North American construction standards.
Drive innovation in design documentation, automation, and Revit workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute strategic ideas to strengthen McLine Studios' market position and service offerings.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Interior Design, Architectural Design, or a related field
.
6-10+ years
of experience in interior design, drafting, and construction documentation for the
North American market
.
Proven leadership experience managing teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
Advanced proficiency in
Revit and AutoCAD
(mandatory).
Strong working knowledge of
AWI, AWMAC, NKBA
, and US/Canada interior construction standards.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
