Job Description

An Senior Interior Designer creates functional, safe, and attractive indoor spaces by blending creativity with technical knowledge, managing projects from concept to completion, selecting finishes, furniture, and lighting, and ensuring designs meet client needs, budgets, and building codes by collaborating with clients, contractors, and architects. Key duties involve client consultation, space planning, creating design plans (mood boards, 3D renders), specifying materials, budgeting, sourcing, and overseeing installation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation: Understand client goals, lifestyle, needs, and budget. Design Development: Develop concepts, sketches, floor plans, and 3D renderings (mood boards, models). Space Planning: Analyze space usage and create efficient layouts. Material & Fixture Selection: Choose colors, finishes, furniture, lighting, and decor. Budgeting & Scheduling: Estimate costs, create project timelines, and manage budgets. Coordination: Work with architects, contractors, electricians, and vendors. Compliance: Ensure designs meet building codes, accessibility (ADA), and safety regulations. Project Management: Oversee installation and site visits to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications:

Strong aesthetic sense and creative vision. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp). Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction processes.
