Senior Interior Designer - Project Lead to lead interior design and fit-out projects from concept through execution. The role involves design leadership, client management, and coordination with architecture, MEP, vendors, and site teams to deliver high-quality interior environments within approved budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Lead interior projects across concept design, detailing, and site execution
Develop design narratives, mood boards, material palettes, and detailed drawings
Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, vendors, and contractors
Lead client presentations, design reviews, and approvals
Manage execution drawings, shop drawings, and on-site coordination
Oversee material selection, mock-ups, and quality control on site
Guide and mentor junior interior designers
Coordinate with QS and project teams on cost alignment and value engineering
Required Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture
5-10 years of relevant experience in interior design and turnkey fit-out projects
Strong exposure to commercial, hospitality, residential, or workplace interiors
Skills & Competencies
Strong design sensibility and material knowledge
Proficiency in AutoCAD and presentation tools (SketchUp / Adobe / similar)
Understanding of interior construction systems and services coordination
Strong client-facing and team leadership skills
Detail-oriented with strong site coordination capability
