We are hiring a Senior Interior Design Manager to lead our design team and oversee end-to end interior projects focused on modular furniture, custom furnishings, and decor. The ideal candidate is creative, technically strong, and experienced in managing premium interior projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, guide, and mentor the interior design and technical teams, ensuring high-quality output across all projects.
Oversee the full design development cycle -- from concept creation to technical detailing and final execution.
Review and refine concept presentations, mood boards, layouts, and 3D designs, ensuring they meet client expectations, project feasibility, and brand standards.
Supervise the preparation of detailed technical drawings, including furniture details, joinery, elevations, and material specifications.
Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and project management teams to ensure design intent is accurately translated during manufacturing and installation.
Oversee project BOQs, material take-offs, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budget and timelines.
Ensure all interior design deliverables meet industry best practices, quality standards, and project schedules.
Evaluate and introduce new materials, finishes, technology, and design trends relevant to the furniture and furnishing industry.
Build strong client relationships through effective communication, presentations, and design approvals. What We Are Looking For:
Strong technical expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D visualization tools.
In-depth understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and joinery techniques.
Ability to interpret design intent and convert it into detailed shop drawings.
Excellent project coordination and time management skills.
Strong eye for detail, precision, and design quality.
Knowledge of modular systems, ergonomics, and interior detailing. Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
Proven experience of 7-13 years, working with furniture and furnishing products, including modular, bespoke, or luxury segments.
Excellent project coordination and time management skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and design visualization software.
Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, color theory, and space utilization.
Knowledge of modular systems, ergonomics, and interior detailing.
