Job Description


SENIOR INTEGRATION ENGINEER Bangalore, Remote, India As an exceptional Integration Engineer, you will work on developing and maintaining Integration & Automation Solutions (recipes/connectors) for Legion WFM customers. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Senior Integration Engineers provide leadership, facilitate analysis and design tasks, and support multiple Legion teams for the development of an enterprise\'s solution architecture. Job responsibilities are grouped across four key areas: Technical Integrations, Customer Centric Consulting, Legion Product Expertise, and a Commitment to One Another.
Technical Integrations

  • Build scalable technical integration architecture for end-end processing between legion and
various systems (HR, POS, Payroll etc)
  • Develop scalable Integration REST APIs as part of Legion\'s API driven framework
  • Support pre-sales activities such as demos, setup of proof of concepts, working with Pre-salesOrganization)
  • Work on projects executed across geographies and cultures
  • Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills

Customer Centric Consulting
  • Take a lead position in the projects and perform technical activities including development
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the customer on technical matters
  • Plan and conduct architecture sessions, design, and build enhancements\\extensions, create
plans for Integration and Unit testingDevelops long lasting relationships
  • Able to simultaneously help multiple customers and travel to customer locations as required
  • Actively set and manage expectations
  • Understand, adapt and act within the customer\'s organization and culture
  • Continually acquires knowledge about our customers and solutions to grow adoption
  • Manage difficult situations in a calm and structured way with timely internal and external
communication to all levels of individuals
  • Understand flexibility and prepares for when needs change

Legion Product Expertise
  • Identify, report and prioritize bugs & enhancements
  • Gain and maintains core product expertise for end users and configuration
  • Grow product knowledge through regular release training

  • Work closely together with others and share expertise to ensure product success
  • Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews
  • Support others in understanding what is needed to improve understanding of our processes and policies

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of business/information/solution/technical architecture experience
  • Graduate of a university with a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in a relevant STEM field including: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant degree
  • Must be able to work as a team player, yet can work independently
  • Analytical, results-driven and have a solution-oriented approach
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and English communication skills including verbal, written presentation and listening
  • Deep technical expertise Integration technologies and protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, FTP,
SFTP, SOAP, REST, JMS, JDBC
  • Technical understanding of integration platforms such as Workato, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit,
SnapLogic (Workato preferred)
  • Strong experience with Java/RESTful web services
  • Exposure to agile software development leveraging toolsets (e.g. Jira, GitHub, Jenkins)
  • Exposure to reporting/analytics with SQL development (Mysql, applications like Snowflake)
  • Strong proven technical focus, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ideal candidate has workforce management integration experience
  • Experience using AWS technologies such as AWS CDK, Cloud formation, S3, ECS, EKS, and EC2
  • Experience using Linux/Unix environments

How We Determine What We Pay

As a fully remote employer, Legion determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate\'s region/town/cost of living. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant\'s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.
