Role Title: Senior Insurance Product Specialist
Position Summary:
This role handles medium and large worldwide accounts under supervision requiring technical knowledge of systems and procedures. This is the second of three levels within the job family. Work at this level requires problem solving but may require assistance and direction for more complex tasks/accounts.
Uses judgment and knowledge of corporate rules, guidelines and governance for processing policy documentation in support of worldwide insurance programs following defined processes, working to resolve queries or concerns from internal or external clients.
Maintains all aspects of client information in all appropriate systems for designated territories. Coordinates the efforts of multiple resources to ensure procedures and workflows are properly followed.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs various more complex insurance and reinsurance processes using problem solving skills in order to ensure timely delivery of quality products to new and existing clients. All activities are in support and at the direction of the authorized individual(s) within FM licensed territories.
  • Creates underlier policies, invoices, cancellations and endorsements in accordance with client and corporate instructions, to meet regulatory requirements in multiple territories.
  • Prepares and distributes documentation to WorldReach Partners including, but not limited to, pre renewal information, initial policies, associated documentation and endorsements utilizing appropriate delivery methods.
  • Maintains all required tracking systems in line with corporate guidelines. Process reinsurance and loss reinsurance as directed by authorized individual in appropriate financial systems. Accurately records data and maintains integrity of all applicable systems.
  • Tracks deadlines and interacts with all areas of the business. Ensures compliance with various domestic and international guidelines.
  • Provides training and support to Level I team members.
Skill and Experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience required to Perform essential Job functions
  • Additional Experience Qualifier (optional): Preferably within an insurance, finance or other regulatory environment. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Offices applications
  • Demonstrates ability to research issues, identify and solve problems

  • Proficiency in English is required. Multiple language skills preferred, French, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
