Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Review and interpret

P&ID, control philosophies, and instrument datasheets

Selection, specification and sizing of: Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature transmitters Control valves and analyzers Preparation of: Instrument index Hook-up drawings Loop diagrams Cable schedules Coordination with: Electrical and PLC/DCS teams Mechanical and process engineers Supervise

instrument installation, calibration and loop checking

Handle

site commissioning and plant start-up activities

Support

FAT and SAT with clients

Ensure compliance with

safety standards and project specifications

Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system issues Prepare documentation and handover reports Guide junior instrumentation engineers and technicians
Qualification:

BE / BTech / Diploma in

Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of

process instrumentation

Excellent understanding of

P&ID and control loops

Experience in

field instruments and control valves

Hands-on experience in

commissioning and troubleshooting

Knowledge of

industry standards

(ISA / IEC / API preferred) Exposure to

PLC / DCS / SCADA systems

is an added advantage Familiar with AutoCAD or similar tools for drawings
Preferred Industry Experience:

Oil & Gas Chemical / Petrochemical Power Plant Pharma / Process Industries EPC Project Companies
Soft Skills:

Good communication with clients and project teams Ability to handle multiple sites and deadlines Strong problem-solving skills Willingness to travel to project locations
