Senior Instructor (CAR 147 Basic)

to join our team and contribute to shaping the next generation of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) professionals.

Role Overview

The Senior Instructor will be responsible for delivering

high-quality theoretical and practical training

for

Category B1.1 (Mechanical)

and/or

Category B2 (Avionics)

in compliance with

DGCA CAR 147 Basic & CAR 66

standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver theoretical & practical instruction for relevant

B1.1/B2 modules

as per the

CAR 66 syllabus

. Develop lesson plans, presentations, training materials, and assessments aligned with DGCA and institute standards. Conduct internal assessments and examinations as per

CAR 147 Basic

guidelines. Maintain accurate training records and report student progress. Support practical training in hangars, workshops, and labs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Experience

Minimum

1 year of experience as an AME Instructor

in a CAR 147 Basic organization.

Skills & Competencies

Strong theoretical & practical instructional skills. Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written). Proficiency in training aids, simulation tools, and LMS. Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and professional ethics.

Qualifications

Degree or DGCA-approved

AME Course (Cat. B1.1/B2)

1 year of relevant experience

in a civil aviation maintenance environment (CAR 145 or equivalent). Total experience:

4+ years
