We are seeking a Senior Institutional Relationship Manager to lead acquisition and engagement of high-value clients across MSMEs, large corporates, family offices, and startup treasuries in major markets including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata. This role focuses on delivering customized treasury, investment, and liquidity solutions while building long-term, trusted relationships with institutional clients.
You will act as a strategic partner to clients, driving growth, providing advisory expertise, and ensuring their financial objectives are met with tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional clients, including MSMEs, corporates, family offices, and startup treasuries.
Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with CXOs, promoters, finance heads, and treasury teams.
Lead negotiations, strategic reviews, and long-term engagement planning to strengthen client partnerships.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Drive new client acquisition and expand the revenue base across assigned regions.
Identify growth opportunities, cross-sell investment and treasury products, and maximize client wallet share.
Mentor and manage a team of client-facing professionals, ensuring high performance and scalable coverage.
Treasury & Investment Advisory
Advise clients on liquidity management, capital deployment, risk optimization, and strategic investments.
Manage client portfolios, ensuring alignment with their financial objectives and treasury strategies.
Collaborate with research, investment committees, and analysts to provide informed recommendations.
Market & Strategic Insights
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to optimize client strategies.
Provide actionable insights to leadership on market expansion, product positioning, and client needs.
Identify emerging client segments, innovative treasury solutions, and untapped institutional opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
7-15 years of experience in institutional sales, client coverage, or treasury advisory.
Strong understanding of institutional investment requirements, MSME and corporate treasury, and family office strategies.
Proven success in client acquisition, relationship management, and advisory services.
Experience managing or mentoring client coverage teams is preferred.
