Job Description

An Inside Sales EdTech Team Lead manages and motivates a team of inside sales representatives in the educational technology sector to achieve sales targets. This role involves setting sales strategies, coaching team members, analyzing sales data, fostering customer relationships, managing sales budgets, and collaborating with marketing to optimize the sales process and ensure revenue growth. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of inside sales representatives, setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, conducting performance reviews, and motivating them to exceed targets.

Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives, focusing on lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.

Performance Management:

Monitor team performance against sales targets, analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and results.

Customer Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify new business opportunities within the edtech market.

Collaboration:

Partner closely with marketing and demand generation teams to refine messaging and improve lead quality and conversion.

Budgeting:

Develop and manage sales budgets, including forecasting sales targets and tracking performance against those targets.

Sales Tools & Processes:

Oversee the effective use of CRM software and other sales automation tools to manage leads, track progress, and streamline sales processes.
Required Skills & Experience

EdTech & Sales Experience:

A proven track record in inside sales, preferably within the edtech industry.

Leadership Experience:

Experience managing and leading an inside sales team is crucial.

Sales & Analytical Skills:

Strong abilities in communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.

Customer Focus:

A customer-first mindset and the ability to build rapport with prospects and clients.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency with CRM software and other sales automation tools
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
