We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise across VMware Cloud technologies (VCF, VCD, VRA, vROps, vRLI, NSX-T) and solid Windows L3 and Linux administration capabilities. The role requires deep hands-on experience in designing, deploying, automating, and supporting enterprise-grade virtualized and operating system environments. The engineer will act as an L3 escalation point across virtualization, cloud, compute, storage, networking, and OS layers.
Key Responsibilities
1. VMware Cloud & Virtualization (L3 Expertise)
Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) components including vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC Manager.
Implement and manage multi-tenant cloud environments using VMware Cloud Director (VCD).
Build and automate cloud provisioning workflows using VMware Aria Automation (VRA).
Configure and optimize vROps for monitoring, capacity planning, and performance analytics.
Implement logging and observability via vRealize Log Insight (vRLI).
Design and support NSX-T (L3) activities including routing, BGP, VRF, micro-segmentation, load balancing, and distributed firewall.
Manage SDDC lifecycle, upgrades, patching, and performance fine-tuning.
2. Windows Server Administration (L3)
Provide L3 support for Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022) environments.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and domain services.
Handle complex issues involving Windows clustering, failover services, DFS, RDS, and storage.
Perform OS hardening, patching, backup management, and PowerShell-based automation.
Lead Windows migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
3. Linux Administration
Install, configure, and administer Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).
Manage services, systemd, networking, firewalld/iptables, SELinux, file systems, and LVM.
Troubleshoot kernel, performance, and service-related issues.
Perform patch management, monitoring, and lifecycle operations on Linux systems.
4. Automation & Scripting
Build automation workflows using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
Create templates, scripts, and tools for deployment, monitoring, and repetitive tasks.
Integrate automation with VMware tools and OS platforms.
