Job Title: Senior Information Security Engineer

This Senior Information Security Engineer (SISE) role is on the Cyber Security Innovation - Application Engineering Team within the Information and Cyber Security division performing application support and engineering for a suite of products supported by the group. The ideal candidate should be experienced in system and application management in environments with complex configurations and rapidly changing requirements. The Application Engineering Team is responsible for production support, release management, vulnerability management and other tasks as assigned for the CSI-AE suite of applications

• Daily maintenance of the CSI-AE application suite
• Troubleshooting of production issues
• Ansible configuration management
• Collaboration with development teams
• Resiliency planning
• Agile Dev/Ops participation

• Evidence of continuous learning and adapting to new technologies

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security applications and systems experience
• 4+ years of information technology applications and systems experience
• 2+ Experience maintaining, monitoring and tuning platform to ensure expected availability, performance and security

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with web services and ability to connect data using SOAP API, REST API etc.
• Experience with complex data migration planning and execution
• Scripting language experience - Bash, Python
• Experience working in Linux environment
• 2+ years working with configuration and monitoring technologies such Ansible, Telegraf, Grafana
• 1+ years of experience with Nomad, Fabio and Consul service mesh/microservices configurations.
• Knowledge and understanding of security configuration management including: linking security policy with security configuration
• Knowledge and understanding of network security and network protocols
• Knowledge and understanding of vulnerability identification and remediation
• System vulnerability detection and mitigation experience

Other Desired Qualifications:

• 1 year experience working in an AGILE DEVOPS framework
