Job Description

We are a Controls System Integration company based in Canada. Our primary focus is PLC, SCADA and AMR and AGVs. We are looking to additional resources to join our team. Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical Design and programming of safety system (Safety PLC and Controllers)
• Design and development of PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens)
• Design of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Profinet, DeviceNet, Profibus, RS-232)
• Programming and implementing HMI (AB, Siemens, Omron, Proface, Automation Direct, etc.)
• Design of SCADA systems (Ignition, FactoryTalk, WinCC)
• Robot systems design (Fanuc, Kuka)
• Configuring AC/DC drives (AB, ABB, Siemens)
• Servo motion systems configuring and programming (AB, Omron, Siemens, ClearPath, etc.)
• Machine vision design (Cognex, Keyence, Banner, Omron)
• Database design MSSQL
• Assist with machine start-ups (I/O checks, devices setup, program upload,
• safety system checks, robot teaching, and machine test and debugging)
• Troubleshooting of electrical controls and mechanical mechanisms
• Provide instructions for other controls personnel, electrical panel builders and machine assemblers

Qualifications

• University or College degree/diploma in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, System Design, Controls Technology
• Minimum 8-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in system/controls development, design and integration of factory automation equipment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and electrical ladder diagrams
• Thorough understanding of PLC\xe2\x80\x99s robotics, control systems and machine operation
