Senior Industrial Automation Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation and digitalization solutions across our industrial operations. The candidate must have a strong background in Rockwell Automation platforms including ControlLogix/CompactLogix PLCs, FactoryTalk View SCADA, FTOptix, and experience in digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and commission automation systems using Rockwell Automation PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) and SCADA platforms (FactoryTalk View SE/ME). Develop HMI/SCADA interfaces using FactoryTalk View and FTOptix. Implement and maintain industrial communication networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, etc.). Lead system integration projects from concept through commissioning, including functional design specifications, programming, testing, and support. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and ensure best practices in programming, safety, and system design. Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing automation systems. Support data acquisition and analytics initiatives to improve productivity and reliability. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity practices. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, with a focus on manufacturing or process industries. Proven expertise with Rockwell Automation products, particularly: PLC programming (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) SCADA/HMI development using FactoryTalk View SE/ME FTOptix application design and deployment Strong understanding of industrial protocols and network architectures (EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, etc.). Experience with digitalization solutions such as data historians, IIoT platforms, remote monitoring, and integration with ERP/MES systems. Experience with safety systems (GuardLogix, SIL-rated systems) is a plus. Familiarity with Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing concepts, and cloud connectivity.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
