InfoSec TVM Team is responsible for safeguarding the security of Akamai's systems, infrastructure and providing internal advocacy for security practices. Opportunity to work closely with product and platform teams throughout the company.
Become a Security Subject Matter Expert
As a Senior Security Analyst II, responsibilities include investigating security incidents, analyzing digital evidence, and collaborating with teams to address threats. The role involves preventing future incidents, handling complex tasks, and requires technical expertise. Familiarity with current threats and adversarial methods is essential to effectively perform in this position.
As a Security Analyst Senior II, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting in-depth investigations of security incidents, such as data breaches, malware infections, unauthorized access attempts and more.
• Identifying security incident causes, assessing impact scope, and documenting investigation findings clearly and concisely for effective communication.
• Collaborating with security teams, including operations, threat intelligence, and product security, to address threats and enhance overall security posture.
• Collecting, analyzing, and preserving digital evidence using forensic tools and techniques.Develop and implement security digital forensics incident response plans and procedures.
• Providing training and support to team members on digital forensics while staying updated on the latest tools and techniques.

Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:

• Possess 4-6 of digital forensics and incident response expertise, alongside 6-8 in Information Security, including intrusion detection.
• Demonstrate expertise in digital forensics concepts and methodologies, utilizing forensic tools and techniques for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
• Have Knowledge of traditional Endpoint, Network, Perimeter and Endpoint Detection Response security product solutions
• Have solid knowledge of operating system internals (macOS, Linux, and/or Windows) and network fundamentals
• Demonstrate expertise with forensic tools like Sleuthkit, Axiom, Magnet, EnCase, FTK, Autopsy, and other industry-standard software applications.
• Include certifications like CHFI, CISSP, GCFA, GCIH, or EnCE to enhance qualifications and demonstrate expertise in the field.
