Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and operational needs.
Partner with senior leadership to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning for key logistics functions.
Lead HR transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Oversee recruitment and onboarding for operations, drivers, warehouse staff, and office employees.
Develop workforce forecasting models to ensure adequate staffing levels for seasonal and project-based logistics demands.
Implement effective retention and career development programs.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR policies, labor laws, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies.
Manage disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance issues fairly and consistently.
4. Performance Management & Development
Design and implement performance appraisal systems that align with logistics KPIs (delivery accuracy, turnaround time, etc.).
Identify training needs and coordinate skill development programs, especially for operational staff and team leaders.
5. Compensation & Benefits Administration
Oversee payroll processing, employee benefits, and incentive schemes for logistics personnel.
Conduct market benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation structures.
6. HR Operations & Reporting
Manage HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, productivity) and prepare periodic reports for management.
Lead digital HR initiatives, including HRIS implementation and data analytics for decision-making
