Role Overview
The Senior HR Manager will lead the HR function, oversee talent acquisition, employee engagement, policy development, and ensure compliance with employment laws. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to build and maintain a high-performing, motivated workforce.
Plan and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Lead campus hiring drives, walk-ins, and lateral hiring.
Manage job postings, candidate screening, and interview processes.
Build a talent pipeline for critical roles.
2. Employee Engagement & Retention
Design and implement engagement programs to improve employee satisfaction.
Conduct regular feedback sessions, stay interviews, and grievance handling.
Develop initiatives to improve retention rates.
3. Training & Development
Identify skill gaps and create training calendars.
Coordinate onboarding programs for new hires.
Oversee leadership and soft-skill development initiatives.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
Develop, update, and implement HR policies in line with labor laws.
Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain employee records and documentation.
5. Performance Management
Oversee the appraisal process and KPI setting.
Work with managers to create career development plans.
Implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
6. Strategic HR Initiatives
Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business goals.
Conduct workforce planning and succession planning.
Monitor HR metrics (attrition, time-to-fill, engagement scores).
Qualifications & Skills
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Knowledge of HRMS and MS Office tools.
