The Senior HR Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation. The role ensures smooth HR operations and supports the company's goal of maintaining a productive and positive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all departments.
Conduct interviews and ensure timely onboarding of new employees.
Maintain candidate pipelines for research, academic, and business roles.
Employee Onboarding & Orientation:
Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documentation.
Conduct induction programs for new joiners and explain company policies.
Performance Management:
Monitor employee performance and maintain evaluation records.
Support managers in setting performance goals and feedback sessions.
Attendance & Payroll:
Oversee attendance, leave management, and salary processing.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in coordination with accounts.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and organize sessions to enhance staff skills.
Maintain reports on training effectiveness and employee development.
HR Policies & Compliance:
Implement HR policies and ensure adherence to company standards.
Handle disciplinary actions, grievance management, and compliance issues.
Employee Engagement:
Plan team-building activities, celebrations, and engagement programs.
Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain HR reports and share monthly updates with management.
Ensure all employee records are properly updated and secured.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR / Business Administration.
3-6 years of HR experience, preferably in academic or research sectors.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of HR software, payroll systems, and compliance rules.
Leadership skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualities:
Proactive, organized, and approachable.
Able to work independently and manage a small HR team.
Experience in handling recruitment for research or academic roles is an advantage.
