The HR Manager at Pathfinder plays a critical role in building and nurturing our most valuable asset: our people. This position involves managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to talent development and retention. The HR Manager will be a strategic partner, ensuring that our team is not only high-performing but also aligned with our values and mission. This role directly impacts employee morale, productivity, and our overall organizational culture.
Role Scope & Accountability
(Top 4 but not limited to)
Talent Acquisition:
Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. Develop and execute a recruitment strategy to attract top talent.
Performance Management:
Implement and oversee performance review cycles. Work with team leads to provide constructive feedback, manage performance improvement plans, and recognize high-achievers.
Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Mediate conflicts, ensure a positive work environment, and uphold company policies.
Training & Development:
Design and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. Identify training needs and organize workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
Outcomes Expected (within first 6-12 months)
Develop and implement a standardized recruitment process that reduces time-to-hire and improves candidate quality.
Launch a comprehensive employee onboarding program that integrates new hires smoothly into the team.
Establish a clear career path and development framework for employees across all departments.
Improve employee satisfaction scores through effective communication and proactive conflict resolution.
Qualification / Competencies
Required (Must-Have)
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or management role, preferably within the education sector.
Strong understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with HR management software and digital tools.
