to lead and manage the Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's overall objectives, especially tailored to the needs of large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead HR operations across project and corporate offices.
Develop HR strategies and policies specific to the construction industry.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning for site-based and HO staff.
Handle statutory compliance (PF, ESI, labor laws, etc.) related to construction workforce.
Drive performance management, employee engagement, and retention programs.
Maintain harmonious industrial relations with contract labor and site teams.
Ensure timely resolution of grievances and disciplinary issues.
Coordinate training and development initiatives to upskill the workforce.
Prepare and manage HR budgets and MIS reports for leadership.
Liaise with project managers and department heads on workforce planning and HR support needs.
Ensure compliance with ISO, ESG, and internal audit HR standards.
Key Requirements:
MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 10 years of HR experience, with
mandatory
experience in
highways/bridges/infrastructure construction projects
.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, contract labor management, and project site HR challenges.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with HRMS systems and data-driven HR practices preferred.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
