The Senior HR Manager is responsible for leading strategic and operational human resources functions to support the organization's goals. This role oversees HR programs, policies, and initiatives across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. The Senior HR Manager acts as a trusted partner to leadership and a champion for employees, driving a positive, high-performance workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic HR Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, and succession planning.
Use HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management
Oversee full-cycle recruitment for senior and critical roles.
Build employer branding and recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage onboarding and ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as an advisor on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and workplace challenges.
Promote a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Lead employee engagement initiatives and feedback programs.
4. Performance Management & Development
Manage performance review cycles and coach managers on performance improvement.
Implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
Support succession planning and career-pathing initiatives.
5. Compensation & Benefits
Collaborate with leadership to design competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct salary benchmarking and manage annual compensation review processes.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
6. Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures.
Oversee HR audits, risk mitigation, and documentation.
7. HR Operations & Systems
Lead HR operations, including HRIS management, reporting, and data integrity.
Streamline processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.
Manage HR budgets and vendor relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
7-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and manage complex HR issues.
Professional certifications (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) are a plus.
