to oversee the complete Human Resources function for an organisation comprising
200-300 employees
. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of HR operations, and proven expertise in statutory compliance, labour laws, and employee management.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Leadership
Lead, supervise, and develop the HR team to ensure seamless functioning of all HR activities.
Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, induction, employee engagement, and exit formalities.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and organisational structure.
2. Statutory Compliance & Labour Law Management
Ensure 100% compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, LWF, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, Maternity Benefits Act, and applicable labour laws.
Monitor and manage all statutory filings, returns, inspections, and audits in a timely and accurate manner.
Liaise with labour authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies for statutory requirements.
Implement best practices to minimise compliance risks.
3. Payroll & Attendance Administration
Oversee complete payroll management, ensuring accuracy in salaries, incentives, deductions, and statutory contributions.
Supervise attendance management, leave tracking, rosters, and shift schedules.
Coordinate with the accounts and finance team for timely monthly disbursements.
4. Employee Relations & Grievance Redressal
Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
Conduct investigations, prepare reports, and implement disciplinary actions where necessary.
Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to company policies and code of conduct across all departments.
5. Performance Management & Organisational Development
Lead the performance appraisal process and ensure timely evaluation cycles.
Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
Support senior management in HR planning, workforce allocation, and organisational restructuring.
Implement MIS reporting, HR dashboards, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
8-15 years of progressively responsible experience in HR management.
Strong command over PF, ESIC, labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR audits.
Experience managing HR operations for a workforce of
200-300 employees
.
Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to handle pressure, deadlines, and multi-department coordination.
