We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated
Senior HR Officer / HR Manager
to oversee all HR functions at our branch. This role is pivotal in driving the success of the branch by managing
end-to-end recruitment

employee relations

, and
day-to-day HR operations
. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with excellent organizational and people management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Administration
Accurately manage and process the monthly payroll cycle for all branch employees.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., tax, social security, benefits).
Maintain up-to-date payroll records and handle salary queries.
Coordinate with finance and external payroll providers .
2. Recruitment & Onboarding
Lead the recruitment process: job postings, screening, interviews, offers.
Collaborate with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs.
Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Manage employee documentation and records as per policy.
3. HR Operations & Staff Management
Serve as the point of contact for all HR matters at the branch.
Handle disciplinary actions, grievance management, and conflict resolution.
Monitor staff performance and support line managers in performance reviews.
Maintain attendance and leave records; manage time-off requests.
4. Compliance & Policies
Ensure branch HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.
Keep up to date with changes in employment law and HR best practices.
Assist with audits and internal reporting as required.
5. Employee Engagement & Culture
Foster a positive workplace culture through team-building and engagement initiatives.
Support employee wellbeing and retention strategies.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at the branch level.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 3-7 years of progressive HR experience, including payroll and recruitment. Prior experience managing HR at a branch or site level is essential.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Discreet, ethical, and committed to confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
Based at Vasant Vihar, with occasional travel as needed.
Standard office hours with flexibility for urgent HR matters.
May require working beyond regular hours during payroll or recruitment drives.
