SKA Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to support and enhance our human resources functions. This role involves managing employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and learning and development. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strong interpersonal skills, HR expertise, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage job postings, candidate sourcing, and screening.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate the recruitment process.
- Organize onboarding programs, including new hire orientation and documentation.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns.
- Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Promote employee engagement through activities and initiatives.
HR Compliance and Policies
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and organizational policies.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and internal HR policies.
- Handle employment contracts, terminations, and other legal documentation.
Benefits and Compensation
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrolments and changes.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Support salary benchmarking and compensation analysis.
Performance Management
- Assist with the implementation of performance management systems.
- Collaborate with managers to facilitate performance reviews and feedback.
HR Data and Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system.
- Prepare and analyse HR data and reports to inform decision-making.
Learning and Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
- Support career growth initiatives and succession planning efforts.
Qualifications
- MBA In HR, Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of labour laws and HR compliance standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
