Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR policies, and providing support in recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, compliance, and performance management. This role will serve as a key point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Oversee payroll processing, attendance, and leave management.
Support performance appraisal and employee development programs.
Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
Handle employee queries, grievances, and provide resolution in line with company policies.
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal communication.
Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Liaise with department heads to support manpower planning and training needs.
Prepare HR reports, MIS, and ensure timely submission to management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist / HR Executive.
Knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and HR operations.
Proficiency in MS Office and HR software/ERP.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
