Manage end-to-end recruitment process -- sourcing, screening, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
Prepare job descriptions, conduct interviews, and issue offer letters.
Ensure smooth joining formalities and induction of new employees.
2. Payroll & Attendance Management
Supervise monthly attendance, leave records, and overtime data.
Coordinate with the accounts department for timely salary processing.
Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and TDS deductions.
3. Employee Relations
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Promote a positive and engaging work culture.
Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and counseling as needed.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
Implement and update HR policies in line with labor laws and company standards.
Maintain statutory registers and ensure compliance with Factory/Shop & Establishment Acts.
Coordinate with auditors and government authorities during inspections.
5. Performance Management
Assist in setting performance goals and conducting appraisals.
Track employee performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Support training and development initiatives.
6. Training & Development
Identify training needs across departments.
Organize workshops and skill development programs.
Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness.
7. HR Documentation & Reporting
Maintain employee records, HRMIS data, and documentation.
Prepare HR-related MIS reports -- recruitment status, turnover, headcount, etc.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of HR information.
8. Exit Formalities
Manage employee resignations, exit interviews, and full & final settlements.
Ensure proper clearance and handover procedures.
