The Senior HR Executive - Recruitment is responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities including manpower planning, sourcing, interviewing, coordination with department heads, onboarding, and maintaining recruitment records. The role also supports HR operations as required.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Handle end-to-end recruitment for staff, executives, engineers, and shop-floor manpower.
Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
Prepare and manage recruitment plans as per business needs.
Source candidates through job portals, consultants, references, campus hiring, and walk-ins.
Screening & Interview Coordination
Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates.
Schedule and coordinate interviews with technical and functional heads.
Conduct initial HR interviews and salary discussions.
Issue offer letters and appointment letters.
Onboarding & Documentation
Coordinate joining formalities and induction programs.
Ensure completion of employee documentation.
Maintain recruitment and joining trackers.
Vendor & Consultant Management
Coordinate with recruitment consultants and vendors.
Negotiate hiring costs and ensure timely closures.
HR Support Activities
Support HR operations such as attendance, employee records, engagement activities, and compliance if required.
Maintain MIS reports related to recruitment and attrition.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of recruitment processes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle bulk and lateral hiring.
Knowledge of labor laws (basic) is an added advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Ability to work independently and meet hiring deadlines.
Qualification & Experience
Education:
MBA / MSW / PGDM in HR or relevant qualification.
Experience:
4-7 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in manufacturing or industrial setup.
