The Senior Executive - HR will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations in the hospital, with a focus on medical and non-medical staff recruitment, statutory compliance, employee welfare, and training as per NABH and organizational requirements. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of HR processes in healthcare, and the ability to ensure smooth coordination between hospital departments and HR.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Handle recruitment of doctors, nurses, paramedical, and non-medical staff.
Coordinate manpower planning with HODs to ensure timely hiring.
Manage the entire recruitment cycle: sourcing, shortlisting, interviews, reference checks, and offer rollouts.
Conduct joining formalities, documentation, and induction programs.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
Build and maintain a positive work culture across hospital departments.
Organize staff engagement, welfare, and recognition programs.
Support in handling disciplinary issues as per HR policy.
3. Payroll & Compliance
Ensure timely collection of attendance and leave data.
Coordinate with accounts for accurate payroll processing.
Monitor and ensure compliance with labour laws, ESI, PF, gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
Maintain HR audits and documentation required for NABH/JCI accreditation.
4. Performance & Training
Support implementation of performance appraisal systems for medical and non-medical staff.
Assist in identifying training needs and arranging skill development programs (clinical & non-clinical).
Maintain training records as per NABH standards.
5. HR Operations & Reporting
Maintain HRIS and employee records with 100% accuracy.
Prepare periodic HR reports (attrition, headcount, vacancies, training, etc.).
Support HR policies, SOPs, and ensure adherence across the hospital.
Key Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of hospital HR operations and NABH requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of labour laws, ESI, PF, and statutory compliance.
Ability to multitask and coordinate with multiple departments.
Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS and MS Office.
