Payroll Processing:

Accurately and timely calculate and distribute employee salaries, including managing deductions, taxes, and benefits. Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure they are compliant with company policies and legal requirements. Process new hires, terminations, and payroll changes. Reconcile payroll accounts and audit transactions.

Compliance:

Stay updated on relevant labor laws, regulations, and best practices. Ensure that payroll and HR practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Monitor and address compliance issues and risks. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll activities.

HR Support:

Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes. Provide support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. Potentially handle employee relations matters, depending on the specific role.
Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge of Payroll and Compliance:

Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws. Familiarity with relevant compliance requirements, including state and federal laws.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to use data analysis tools and software.
