Responsibilities:
Job Design & Recruitment:
Design and update job descriptions to reflect current roles and responsibilities.
Source potential candidates from a variety of online channels and platforms.
Screen resumes and application forms to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct interviews through phone, video, and in-person formats.
Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Send job offer emails and address queries related to compensation and benefits.
HR Metrics & Administration:
Monitor key HR metrics such as time to fill, time to hire, and source of hire.
Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
Suggest and implement new procedures and policies to improve HR efficiency and employee experience.
Ensure compliance with state and federal HR regulations and update policies as needed.
Onboarding & Offboarding:
Prepare and manage paperwork for new hires, including scheduling and facilitating a smooth onboarding process.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
Handle all administrative tasks related to onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.
Enter data into HR information systems and conduct audits for accuracy and compliance.
Payroll & Benefits:
Serve as the primary backup for payroll processing, including bi-weekly and semi- monthly updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, tracking vacation/sick pay, and processing expense reimbursements.
Input exceptions, validate hourly employee records, and manage benefit changes.
