Job Description

The Tier 1/2 Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support for our offshore office in New Delhi, four U.S.-based branch locations, and our remote workforce. This role ensures end-to-end support for users and systems across the organization.





Essential Duties & Responsibilities




Provide technical support for end-users, including desktops/workstations, PBX phone systems, Microsoft Teams, corporate email, printers, and conference room systems. Support all BSI SaaS applications and perform IT support activities, including break/fix tasks. Manage hardware inventory, asset tagging, documentation, and reporting. Perform workstation installations, patching, and upgrades. Install, maintain, and monitor software applications. Interface with vendors for support services related to telephony, computers, and network systems. Research and recommend new or replacement equipment as needed. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Assist with infrastructure projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and helpdesk operations as assigned. Report and document security concerns promptly and accurately in accordance with company policies. Provide after-hours support when necessary.

Education & Experience Requirements




3-5 years of experience in Tier 1/Tier 2 desktop and helpdesk support. Proficiency with Office 365 Suite. Experience with desktop operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 11, and Ubuntu. Hands-on experience managing Active Directory in a Windows environment. Knowledge of basic network protocols and switching fundamentals. Prior experience supporting cloud-based applications such as O365, Mimecast, AWS Workspaces, Salesforce, Okta, and Google Workspace.

Work Environment




Professional office setting with occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs). Ability to sit for extended periods. Candidate must have a personal cell phone for communication.
