Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering
Experience
Proven experience in hands on hardware design and development, with a strong preference for industrial or automotive experience. (6-8 years).
Tools
Proficiency in industry-standard schematic capture and PCB layout tools
Lab Equipment
Hands-on experience with common lab equipment like digital oscilloscopes (DSOs), logic analysers', multimeters, and spectrum analysers.
Problem-Solving
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Communication
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
Automotive Standards
Familiarity with automotive standards, design for reliability, and functional safety principles is a significant advantage.

??Designs, develops, and tests complex automotive electronic hardware required for Electric Vehicles like Instrument Clusters, Telematics Unit, VCU, Battery Monitoring solutions etc... requiring a strong background in analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, high-speed interfaces and PCB layout tools
??Key responsibilities include defining requirements, conducting circuit analysis, ensuring compliance with functional safety and EMC standards, and providing technical/support during homologation, production for automotive applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development:
Create and develop complex electronic circuits for automotive systems, including microcontrollers, microprocessors, and SOC-based architectures.
Circuit Analysis:
Perform circuit analysis and simulations, develop analysis documents (e.g., WCCA, DFMEA), and ensure power integrity (PI/SI).
PCB Design:
Collaborate on schematic capture and PCB layout reviews, ensuring optimal component placement, routing, and layer stack-up.
Communication Protocols:
Utilize expertise in automotive communication protocols like I2C, SPI, LIN, and CAN-FD.
Testing & Validation:
Conduct product testing, board bring-up, debugging, and validation to ensure functionality and meet specifications.
Functional Safety & EMC/EMI:
Design for and troubleshoot issues related to functional safety, EMI, and EMC compliance.
Documentation:
Prepare component selection, bill of materials (BoM), and detailed design documentation.
Production Support:
Provide technical support to manufacturing and troubleshooting hardware issues during the production phase.
Collaboration:
Work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., software, mechanical, manufacturing, External Consultant on a need basis) to achieve Golden Sample, EOL Testing and deployment.
