Location: Pune(Hybrid)
Status: Permanent, Full Time

Why are we hiring a Senior Group Finance Manager ? We're on the hunt for a Senior Group Finance Manager as part of our company's growth.
A key focus of this role is to lead the Order to Cash (O2C), Purchase to Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes across all group companies, ensure that teams, internal controls, and procedures are efficient and effective, and provide the wider group with accurate and timely information. This role includes implementing KPIs and monitoring the performance of the O2C, P2P, and R2R processes against Finance departmental goals as well as integrating new acquisitions and participating in process improvement initiatives.

What are you responsible for?

  • Provide leadership to the O2C, P2P, and R2R teams, supporting them in their day-to-day activities along with identifying and supporting development opportunities for each team member.
  • Act as a controller for the O2C, P2P, and R2R processes, responsible for control tasks such as, but not limited to, approving new vendors, approving new customers, approving purchase orders and invoices, preparing and/or approving payment runs, reviewing and approving third-party royalty reports, validating account reconciliations, reviewing and closing the general ledger, assisting the team with queries and issue resolution, and ensuring audit preparedness at all times.
  • Responsible for managing the month end close processes ensuring all general ledger entries are complete and accurate in collaboration with the Head of Financial Reporting.
  • Responsible for completing the month end close for part of the group ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting.
  • Responsible for the end-to-end management of the O2C, P2P, and R2R processes for the group, ensuring best practices are adopted and adhered to.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • IFRS (or US GAAP) accounting management experience in a global environment (multi-company, multi-country, multi-currency, consolidation) is essential
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Qualified accountant, with a strong technical accounting background
  • Effective organisation skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Company office procedures
  • Knowledge of our Quality Management System and its application to tasks associated with this role
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Experienced and confident using ERP systems (preferable NetSuite)
  • Software industry experience preferred
