Role Summary:

The

Senior General Manager - Projects (Water Technologies)

with 20 to 25 years experience will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of all water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership, and deep industry experience to establish best practices, build teams, and ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning and execution of multiple EPC/EPCF projects in water and wastewater treatment. Establish and implement project management systems, procedures, and KPIs in a startup environment. Guide project teams through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. Build and manage relationships with clients, government agencies, consultants, and contractors. Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental norms, and international quality standards. Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, risks, and documentation. Support tendering, cost estimation, and technical proposal development. Mentor and develop project managers and engineering teams. Report project progress to executive leadership and participate in strategic planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (Master's or MBA preferred). Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, preferably in large-scale water or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment technologies, pumping stations, and pipelines. Experience in setting up PMO frameworks, especially in a new or growing company. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software (Primavera/MS Project, etc.).
