Minimum 18 Years in Electrical & Civil Engineering for Solar and Wind EPC Projects
Position Overview:
The
Project Engineering Manager (PEM)
will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery and high quality of all engineering deliverables for solar and wind EPC projects in the assigned region. The PEM will act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all project engineering matters and will take accountability for engineering execution, compliance, and sign-off of all critical deliverables. The role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and periodic participation in project reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the
Engineering team
for multiple solar and wind EPC projects in the region.
Ensure preparation, review, and sign-off of all
Engineering Deliverables
such as:
+ Electrical system design (single line diagrams, cable sizing, earthing design, etc.)
+ Civil structural designs (foundations, access roads, drainage, etc.)
+ GA drawings, BOQs, Technical Specifications, and Design Reports. Act as
Single Point of Contact (SPOC)
for all engineering-related matters for the projects in the region.
Participate in and represent the engineering function during
Project Review Meetings
with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and consultants.
Monitor and ensure compliance to statutory regulations, company standards, and project technical specifications.
Coordinate with Project Execution, Procurement, and Quality teams to ensure seamless engineering-to-execution handover.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to resolve critical technical issues at site or during design development.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and tools to enhance efficiency and quality of deliverables.
Ensure timely closure of engineering-related project risks and issues.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong expertise in Electrical and Civil Engineering, specifically for Solar PV and Wind EPC projects.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and work across large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes & standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in engineering design tools (AutoCAD, PVSyst, PVsyst, PV Design Software, STAAD Pro, etc.).
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and delivery timelines.
