About the Role



We are seeking a

visionary business leader

to head our Managed Farmland division. This is a

P&L leadership role

requiring in-depth understanding of

real estate transactions, large-scale farmland projects, and business transformation

.

The Senior General Manager will be

accountable for strategic growth, operational excellence, and team leadership

, ensuring that our projects not only meet revenue goals but also set new benchmarks in customer experience and brand trust.

This role is suited for someone who thrives in

high-value negotiations, understands land laws inside-out, and can inspire and lead diverse teams across sales, marketing, legal, and operations

.

Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Vision



Formulate and execute the 3-5 year strategic plan for the Managed Farmland business unit.

Identify emerging trends, market shifts, and customer demands to shape innovative offerings.

Ensure the business unit aligns with the company's vision, mission, and growth roadmap.

Drive market expansion into untapped territories and explore new revenue streams.

2. Revenue Growth & Business Development



Own the

topline and bottom-line targets

for the division.

Drive premium land sales and investment opportunities to HNIs, UHNWIs, institutional investors, and corporate clients.

Build a pipeline of large-scale projects through strong networks, partnerships, and market intelligence.

Oversee the development of competitive pricing strategies and project positioning to maximize ROI.

3. Project Development & Delivery



Oversee

end-to-end project lifecycle

Land Acquisition

- Identifying, evaluating, and acquiring suitable properties with legal and agricultural compliance.

o

Legal & Regulatory

- Ensuring RERA compliance, title clearance, zoning regulations, and environmental clearances.

o

Development

- Coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors for infrastructure development.

o

Handover & Post-Sales

- Smooth customer transition with strong after-sales processes.

Ensure all projects meet

quality, safety, and sustainability

benchmarks.

4. Operational Excellence



Establish and monitor

KPIs for all functions

--sales, operations, customer care, legal, marketing.

Implement robust reporting and review mechanisms for accountability.

Optimize processes for cost efficiency and faster delivery timelines.

Foster a culture of

data-driven decision making

.

5. Team Leadership & Capability Building



Lead, coach, and develop a

multi-disciplinary team

of senior managers, executives, and support staff.

Create clear succession plans and leadership development programs.

Promote a collaborative, performance-oriented work culture that rewards excellence.

Set clear objectives, review progress regularly, and provide actionable feedback.

6. Marketing & Brand Positioning



Partner with the marketing team to develop

impactful campaigns

targeting premium investor segments.

Enhance brand positioning through PR, events, partnerships, and thought leadership.

Drive digital initiatives to generate quality leads and build a strong online presence.

7. Customer Experience & Relationship Management



Build and nurture

long-term relationships

with high-value clients.

Ensure

transparent, timely, and proactive communication

at all stages of the sales cycle.

Create loyalty programs and referral models to encourage repeat investments.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Education:

Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Marketing, or related disciplines. MBA preferred.

Experience:

10-15 years in Real Estate, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or P&L ownership role.

Demonstrated expertise in

farmland or plotted development projects

.

Strong understanding of

land laws, RERA compliance, agricultural land norms, title due diligence, and contract management

.

Proven track record in closing multi-crore transactions and scaling business units.

Excellent

negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management

skills.

Strong

financial acumen

- experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.

Ability to thrive in

fast-paced, high-growth environments

while maintaining quality and compliance.
