Key Responsibilities
Product and Production Management:
Handle the day-to-day tasks of sampling and production follow-up with factories.
Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams (design, sales) and external partners, such as manufacturers and suppliers.
Track production schedules and address any issues that may arise to ensure timely delivery.
Prepare purchase orders and monitor product deliveries from suppliers.
Sales and Data Analysis:
Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product selection, pricing, and promotional activities.
Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities for product optimization and pricing adjustments.
Supplier and Customer Relations:
Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices, delivery times, and product quality.
Create and maintain product catalogs and databases.
Use customer feedback and sales predictions to adjust merchandising and predict stock demand.
Research competitors' pricing, profits, and marketing strategies.
Display and Quality Control:
Develop and maintain appealing and effective product displays.
Assess the effectiveness of store layouts and product displays.
Conduct regular store visits (or factory visits in a manufacturing context) to monitor product displays and inventory levels.
Ensure the quality and timeliness of samples before they are approved for production.
